Africa Women Rising (AWR) in partnership with Jehovah Jir-eh Ministries, a US based church with the desire to help underprivileged children paid a second working visit to Oguaa. This second visit on 21/01/2022 was to honour a promise we had made during our first visit in October that we would be visiting frequently.
As custom demands, we visited the chief’s palace first to pay homage and to let them know about the purpose of our visit.
We then proceeded to the school to present to them some items we had received from our partner.
We encouraged the children that they should not let their current location prevent them from achieving academic heights but should rather focus on studying hard to enable them change the narrative.
